from dental school he performed periodontal surgery almost every week.
He rarely does them now because of the success of non-surgical treatment.
This is delivered by our highly skilled hygienists while the gums are
numb. If a patient follows our directions, they are usually maintained
indefinitely without surgery. This is a wonderful benefit for the patient
and demonstrates the importance of consistent hygiene care. Now we only
do a handful of periodontal surgeries each year and delight in our healthy
hygiene patients.
