Surgical & Implant Dentistry
The
surgical placement and restoration of implants is a complex area of dentistry
that ranges from simple one tooth implants, to procedures requiring multiple
implants, implants that cover the whole jaw, bone grafts and
sinus augmentations, and surgery near the nerves of the jaw. Every
patient is unique in their needs but implants are extremely durable and
often seem to do better than teeth as they do not decay and are resistant
to periodontal disease. The first implant that Dr. Lutz placed
in 1985 is still functioning well. Implants are a wonderful solution
to many difficult problems.
